Emil Frey Autocity Zurich - Glassfloor® chrome

Located at Thurgauerstrasse 35 in Zurich-Oerlikon, the Garage Zürich Nord is a modern new building constructed by Emil Frey AG. The building comprises seven above-ground floors and three basement levels, and features space for various car brands, spacious showrooms, event areas, and modern infrastructure.

Ten walk-on GLASSFLOOR® skylights from Heliobus® were installed in this challenging urban construction project. They were integrated into the terrace and provide natural daylight to the driveway and customer entrance area below.

GLASSFLOOR® elements blend seamlessly into the architectural design, combining safe walkability with high-quality aesthetics. At the same time, they demonstrate how innovative daylighting solutions can be used in dense urban spaces to enhance functionality, aesthetics, and the overall quality of the space.
