We are pleased to introduce the new GLASSFLOOR® FIRESTOP product line—walkable fire-resistant glazing for high-performance buildings with fire resistance ratings up to REI 120-RF1.

The product line combines natural daylight, safe walkability, and certified fire protection in a high-quality system solution. This makes GLASSFLOOR® FIRESTOP particularly suitable for projects where architecture, safety, and technical performance must be considered together.

GLASSFLOOR® FIRESTOP is a certified, ready-to-use solution for walk-on fire-rated glazing with fire resistance ratings up to REI 120-RF1. The system combines natural daylight, safe walkability, and high fire safety standards in a high-quality architectural solution.

Depending on the model, GLASSFLOOR® FIRESTOP fire-resistant glass floors meet requirements for load-bearing capacity (R), compartmentalization (E), and thermal insulation in the event of a fire (I). This makes them particularly suitable for buildings with heightened safety requirements, such as schools, hospitals, office buildings, shopping centers, or public buildings.

VKF approval for every building category and every requirement

GLASSFLOOR FIRESTOP meets the VKF approval in the resistance classes:

• REI 30-RF1 | fire-retardant
• REI 60-RF1 | highly fire-retardant
• REI 90-RF1 | fire resistant
• REI 120-RF1 | Fire resistance 120 minutes

and complies with EU standards:

• EN 1363-1 Fire resistance tests - Part 1: General requirements
