GLASSFLOOR Uses the most efficient solar control glass on the market

Bright rooms and best sun protection at the same time. At GLASSFLOOR we now use the most efficient solar control glass on the market with COOL-LITE® XTREME technology: for optimal sun protection all year round.

Twice as much light penetration as with ordinary solar control glass
The use of solar control glass is always accompanied by a strong reduction in light transmission. Ordinary solar control glass, for example, has a light transmission value of approx. 25%, i.e. only a quarter of the light reaches the interior. With the new solar control glass, our skylights achieve at least twice the light transmission value, (LT ) ≥ 51 % . The glasses thus ensure a bright and friendly atmosphere - in every season.

For clear, aesthetic architecture
The solar control glasses support clear and aesthetic architecture without annoying and high-maintenance shade providers such as roller shutters and blinds. This makes the GLASSFLOOR is especially suitable for listed buildings to ensure the natural supply of light via the roof with skylights while preserving the historic façades.

Theroom stays cooler
The room heats up to 5° degrees Celsius less than with standard thermal insulation glass. This provides more room comfort and reduces the cooling loads caused by air conditioning.

Best values

  • Total energy transmittance (g) up to 0.29 (EN410)
  • Light transmission (LT) ≥ 51 % (CIE 15-2004)
